The Arts at Paul VI Project Dance - May 27th &28th 7:30pm
Spring Arts Festival - May 11th 7:00pm The Arts play a huge role at Paul VI. If you're a musician, dancer, artist, actor, or singer we have a lot of programs that will interest you!Many of our students study various aspects of fine and performing arts and often go on to study them in college. We offer classes in dance, drama, music, chorus, painting, drawing, sculpture and more. Students in the Arts program also have several chances to show off their talents and perform throughout the year, including concerts, the school play, the dance team, Project Dance and more. Dance Program With a new dance studio, and several in and out of class options, students can explore and expand their talents with our dance program. Classes offered include: Dance, Classical Dance, Integrated Dance Styles, and Dance Performance Workshop. Students get to perform their talents as members of the Dance Team, at Project Dance, the school play, the Christmas Concert, and the Spring Arts Festival. Students interested in theatre can take Drama, Drama II and Advanced Drama Classes.
Fine and Industrial Arts Students interested in pursuing the fine arts have a variety of options available. Classes include: Basic Design, Drawing, Design and Painting, Design II, Painting and Ceramics, Graphic Design and Sculpture and Metal Working. In addition, students interested in the Industrial Arts can take Technical Drawing I, II, and III.
